shot at a rainy night in the streets of Paris.

It was one of those moody, humid Parisian summer nights where the air feels heavy enough to cut. Then, without warning, the sky just broke and it started to rain.

While half Marais scrambled for cover under café awnings, we did the opposite. No moodboard, no shelter, no plan. I grabbed the camera, Alexandra Kim (@wallflowerroom) stepped out and we just ran with it.

There’s a specific chaotic energy when you shoot with a hard flash in the pouring rain. You stop trying to control the image and start reacting to the environment. The result is pure texture—rain streaks cutting across the frame like static, wet asphalt reflecting the city lights, and Alex standing unbothered in the middle of the storm while the traffic blurs by.

This isn’t about keeping the clothes dry or hitting the perfect angle. It’s about that adrenaline rush of being the only two people crazy enough to stay outside. Soaked, messy, and completely electric.
